I didn't start out working with children's brains, I started with bodies.
For years, I worked as a strength and rehabilitation coach, helping clients move better and recover from injury. Through this work, I noticed that the physical and the neurological were never really separate. The way someone breathed, braced, compensated, or froze was never just about the tissue; there was always something deeper underneath. That curiosity took me into neurology and, once I started looking through that lens, I couldn't unsee it.
The moment that changed everything came closer to home. My nephew’s journey with Global Developmental delay (and a whole range of other complex symptoms that overlapped with Autism, ADD, ADHD and Apraxia) opened my eyes to the confusion so many families face, the searching for answers, the gap between who he so clearly was and what the system could offer him.
This led me to neurodevelopment and primitive reflexes. I started reading, then training, then applying what I was learning. What I found was something I hadn't expected: a framework that didn't just describe what was wrong, but explained why - and pointed toward what could actually be done about it.
That was the beginning of everything that followed.
I trained directly with Bette Lamont through NeuroDevelopmental Movement, and I'm continuing my training in both MNRI® (Masgutova Method) and the Melillo Method, building a practice grounded in some of the most respected developmental and reflex-integration frameworks available today.
